In short

Kaiterra makes professional indoor air quality monitors. The Sensedge range measures PM2.5, PM10, TVOC, CO₂, temperature and humidity (sensor sets vary by model and SKU) and sends readings to the Kaiterra dashboard. Sensedge and Sensedge Mini connect to building systems over BACnet, Modbus, MQTT and an open API; the battery-powered Sensedge Go reports through a Kaiterra gateway and connects through the API.

FAQ

Kaiterra in the UAE: common questions

Have another question? Ask our team

Which Kaiterra monitor is right for an office?

Sensedge suits shared areas where people should see the readings, thanks to its touchscreen. Sensedge Mini is screenless and suits wall or ceiling mounting across many rooms. Sensedge Go is wireless and battery powered, for fast installs without cabling.

Is Kaiterra RESET and WELL compliant?

Sensedge, Sensedge Mini and Sensedge Go are RESET Air accredited monitors at Grade B (RESET directory RM-003, RM-020 and RM-056), and WELL v2 accepts RESET-accredited monitors of Grade B or above. Kaiterra states that the range carries IWBI’s Works with WELL mark, which is a product licence rather than an accuracy accreditation. A monitor does not certify a building, so we confirm model, placement and calibration against your project’s requirements.

Can Kaiterra monitors connect to a building management system?

Yes. Sensedge and Sensedge Mini support BACnet/IP, Modbus (TCP on the Sensedge, RTU over RS-485 on the Mini), MQTT and an open API, so readings can drive ventilation and appear in your BMS. The battery-powered Sensedge Go reports through a Kaiterra gateway and connects to other systems through the API.

How are Kaiterra monitors kept accurate?

Kaiterra recalibrates by replacing sensor modules, which swap in seconds. Kaiterra says modules typically last 1.5 to 2 years and should be replaced when module health falls below 10%. Certified projects follow their standard’s interval: WELL’s August 2025 guidebook requires recalibration or replacement every three years.

Where can I buy Kaiterra in the UAE?
