Certification

Air quality testing and monitoring for WELL, LEED, RESET and Al Sa’fat

Certification needs reliable air quality data. We plan the monitoring, install suitable monitors and support the documentation from pre-certification to renewal.

In short

WELL, LEED, RESET Air and Dubai’s Al Sa’fat system all reward buildings that prove good indoor air with data. Continuous monitors logging PM2.5, CO₂ and TVOC provide that proof, and the same data shows what to fix before an assessor visits.

FAQ

Certification and air quality: common questions

Have another question? Ask our team

What indoor air quality limits does WELL v2 set?

Feature A01 (Air Quality) requires PM2.5 at or below 15 µg/m³ and PM10 at or below 50 µg/m³ in occupiable spaces, formaldehyde at or below 50 µg/m³ (or total VOC monitoring at or below 500 µg/m³), carbon monoxide at or below 9 ppm and ozone at or below 51 ppb.

What does RESET Air require?

Continuous monitoring of PM2.5, CO₂, TVOC, temperature and humidity. RESET Air v2.1 sets acceptable daily averages of under 35 µg/m³ PM2.5, under 1,000 ppm CO₂ and under 500 µg/m³ TVOC, with stricter high-performance targets of 12 µg/m³, 600 ppm and 400 µg/m³.

Which monitors can be used for RESET and WELL?

Kaiterra states that its Sensedge Go is RESET Grade B certified and part of the Works with WELL catalog. Atmocube’s datasheet shows the Works with WELL and RESET marks. We confirm the right model and placement for your project.

Does Al Sa’fat require indoor air quality testing?

Yes. Dubai’s Al Sa’fat green building system includes indoor air quality compliance for new buildings (401.06) and existing buildings (401.07), with testing carried out by specialised companies or laboratories using calibrated equipment.
