How it works

Antibacterial pre-filter

The pre-filter acts as the first line of defence, capturing particles such as dust, pollen, hair, pet dander etc. This filter layer is treated with an antimicrobial agent to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould on the filter itself. This initial stage extends the life of subsequent filters by preventing clogging and maintaining efficient airflow.

HEPA filter

The HEPA filter is designed to trap ultrafine particles down to 0.1 microns, including pollen, mould spores, and microscopic allergens. Its high-efficiency rate ensures the air is purified to medical-grade standards, providing a safe environment.

Activated carbon filter

The activated carbon filter specialises in removing gases, odours, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air. Through adsorption, it captures these molecules, effectively reducing unpleasant smells and chemical pollutants.

Safe UV-C technology

MedicAir is a plug-and-play unit, specifically designed for simplicity; it requires no specialised installation. 

To install:

Remove the unit from the box, plug the power cable into the unit and a power socket; simply press the illuminated power button on the display panel on the top of the unit.

Replacing MedicAir filters is a breeze. Our filters are integrated into a single 'filter cartridge' that houses all the essential filtration elements and technology.

MedicAir units have been designed to suit different indoor environments. 

  • The MedicAir Pro Mini is ideal for homes and smaller spaces. It is capable of purifying 400 cubic metres of air per hour
  • The MedicAir Pro can purify 605 cubic metres of air per hour 
  • The MedicAir Pro Max is best suited for commercial properties and can purify up to 1500 cubic metres of air per hour
