Case study · Villas and residences
Large, beautiful homes by the sea, and the same quiet problem: humidity. We monitored each home for a month, then fixed it with high-capacity Stadler Form Lukas Pro dehumidifiers.

HawaQ monitored more than 50 VIP waterfront homes in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR and La Mer for one month each, mapped humidity room by room, then recommended Stadler Form Lukas Pro dehumidifiers sized to each space. Humidity problems were fixed in more than 50 homes.
The challenge
Waterfront homes are exposed to humid sea air all year. In large villas and apartments, open-plan living areas, high ceilings, wardrobes and storage rooms behave very differently, and air conditioning that cycles off before it dries the air leaves moisture behind.
Typical signs are musty smells, condensation on glass and damp wardrobes. Owners of homes like these want a discreet fix that protects furniture, fabrics and collections without changing the look of the home.
Our approach
Professional monitors logged humidity and temperature room by room for one full month in every home.
The data showed which rooms stayed humid, when, and why, from AC cycles to closed doors.
We specified Stadler Form Lukas Pro dehumidifiers, with the number and placement sized to each home.
The dehumidifiers were supplied and set up for each space, bringing humidity under control.
The solution
Homeowners can buy the Stadler Form Lukas Pro online at stadlerform.ae, the Stadler Form UAE store. For villas and multi-home projects, we measure first and size the number of units.

The result
Across Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR and La Mer, more than 50 homes now have their humidity under control, with Lukas Pro dehumidifiers placed where a month of data showed they were needed.
We work with the same discretion for VIP residences and palaces across the GCC, and we do not publish client names. Dubai Municipality recommends keeping indoor relative humidity below 60%, and below 50% where feasible, which is the range we design for.

Sea air carries a lot of moisture, and waterfront homes in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR and La Mer are exposed to it all year. Large open-plan spaces, closed wardrobes and storage rooms, and air conditioning that cycles off before it dries the air let humidity build up.
We monitored these homes for one month. A month captures weekdays and weekends, changes in occupancy, air-conditioning patterns and changes in the weather, so the recommendation is based on how the home really behaves.
Each Stadler Form Lukas Pro removes up to 50 litres of moisture a day and is rated for a dehumidifying area of up to 175 m². The number of units depends on the layout, which rooms stay humid and how the spaces connect, which is why we measure first.
Yes, for larger apartments and open-plan living areas. For single bedrooms or smaller apartments, the Stadler Form Lukas, which removes up to 20 litres a day, is often enough.

Start with a month of monitoring. We recommend a dehumidifier only where the data shows you need one.

HawaQ is the indoor air quality division of PRO TECHnology in Dubai. We measure the air in buildings across the UAE and the GCC, then fix what the data shows.
